4-Week Off-Leash Obedience Program
Imagine four weeks from now—your dog calm, walking off-leash, and responsive to every command. This foundational program builds complete obedience step-by-step, beginning with trust-building and progressing to full off-leash control. 6- to 8-Week Behavior Modification Program
For dogs whose idea of socializing includes growling and barking at every guest, human or canine. This program builds calm and confidence in dogs with aggression or reactivity. How often will I get updates about my dog?
We understand leaving your dog for weeks can be nerve-wracking! That’s why we provide daily updates, including photos, videos, and text messages, so you can follow every step of their training.
What if my dog has aggression issues?
If your dog is aggressive, we’re pretty much the best option. Dog aggression needs careful, dedicated training, and our one-on-one program provides the focus they need to succeed. Your dog will experience real-life situations and triggers in a calm, controlled setting, building confidence to overcome aggression and reactivity. No matter what their triggers are, they’ll come home calmer, more confident, and ready to be sociable with humans, dogs, cars, goats, boats (true story…), or whatever their triggers used to be!
Will my dog ever be alone?
Only when we let them out to go clubbing at night. Just kidding 🙂 At Precision K-9, they’re with us all day, practicing commands and observing real-life tasks. They’re only kenneled briefly or at night, and there’s always a trainer on-site with them. You can rest easy knowing they’re in good hands from dawn to dusk to dawn again.
What is the boarding environment like?
Our home-based environment treats your dog like family (because they pretty much are when they come to train with us). What that means is that they’re fully involved in daily routines, so training reflects real life. From doing zoomies in the backyard to keeping us company while we make dinner, they’ll be hard-pressed to tell the difference from when training ends to when real life begins!
Can I visit during the training?
We know it’s hard to stay away! However, when a dog is being trained, it’s crucial that separation from their past life (and habits!) be maintained in order to break old patterns. For this reason (and for the privacy of our trainers) we don’t allow in-person visits. However, our daily updates keep you connected. You’ll fully feel like part of their journey and experience the entire time they stay with us!
Is training available for puppies and older dogs?
Who says you can’t teach an old dog new tricks? Probably the same people who say you can’t teach a puppy off-leash obedience! Unlike those naysayers, we work with dogs of all ages, tailoring their training to bring out the best in each so you can enjoy every stage of life together. Whether your dog is in the teething phase or goes for a 50 yard walk and then sleeps the rest of the day away, they’ll be the best version of themselves when they come home from their stay with us!
