Obedience Training

Behavior Modification

Through our board & train program. We get to know your dog and train them, then we train you to understand their needs, build your relationship with them, and see results. Your dog will go from wherever they are now to a picture of ideal obedience and calm wherever you want to take them. No matter how long they stay with us, each package includes three private sessions (one at pick-up, two during the following month), 6 months of virtual support, and all training equipment used in the program.

My Decades Of Experience + Your Dog = The Dog You Dreamed You’d Own
My name is Britaini, owner and lead trainer of Bombshell K9. Nice to meet you!
When I was really young in California, I started rescuing strays and finding them new homes. Eventually, I decided to get paid for my work and became a professional dog and cat groomer. My journey, however, did not stop there, and I was driven to study dog behavior and become a professional dog trainer.
Here’s my training philosophy: Your dog—no matter what size, temperament, age, or breed—is unique. My motto is to “work with the dog in front of you,” which means I work specifically with your dog, exactly where they are, to discover the root cause of what’s going on and build real obedience from the ground up.
When your dog comes home, their training won’t just be about following commands. My goal is to create a true bond between you and your dog that results in fantastic obedience.

What makes Bombshell K9 different from other trainers?
There are a lot of dog trainers out there. I understand how important it is to choose the right trainer for both you and your dog.
So, why work with me? A lot of folks just want a facade of obedience, but that’s not my game. I get to the root of the issues and unlock the possibilities potential you know are possible. I use a foundation-focused training process that trains your dog from the ground up, creating real obedience rooted in a strong relationship and a deep understanding of what your dog needs to become the companion you’ve dreamed of.
I’m also one of the few trainers who handles human bite aggression. So, if your dog has already bitten someone or you sense this might be a possibility, send me a message! I’m excited to dig deep into what your dog is experiencing and help them become the calm, confident, and relaxed companion you wanted when you first brought them home.
How long does the board-and-train program last?
Our core board-and-train program lasts 3 to 4 weeks. For cases of severe aggression, it might take longer. We’ll begin with an in-person intro session to decide what’s best for your dog. If needed, we’ll extend your board-and-train to 4 weeks or beyond to address aggression cases. My goal is to create a program that works for your dog—not to fit you into a predetermined package.
Will my dog listen to me when they come home?
One of the shortcomings of many board-and-train programs is that they train your dog in a very specific context, and once your dog comes home, all that training can fall apart. That won’t be the case with my program! I get to the root of your dog’s issues so they develop deep, authentic obedience and confidence from the ground up. That means the obedience your dog learns isn’t just a facade—it’s a deeply ingrained way of being that reflects who they truly are and the relationship you have with them.
Plus, every board-and-train package comes with three followup lessons, one at pick up and two in the month following the program, and free phone and text consultations for the lifetime of your dog.

What if my dog has serious aggression issues?
If your dog is highly aggressive, you’re likely feeling a lot of fear, anxiety, and uncertainty about the future. Maybe your dog has even bitten someone, and you’ve been told you might have to put them down.
There is hope! I’m one of the few trainers in the area who handles human bite aggression. If this is your dog, don’t despair—call me first. I would love to learn about your dog and help transform them from a scared, reactive aggressor into a calm, confident companion for you, your family, and other dogs.
What's possible for aggressive dogs?
If your dog is highly aggressive, we start with an in-person evaluation. For true aggression, a minimum of four weeks of training is required—and additional training might be necessary. We need to address the underlying problem. Your dog might still not like everyone, but they will learn to be neutral, and you’ll learn how to advocate for your dog.
What is true aggression? True aggression means your dog wants to bite to hurt versus a fearful dog whose aggression is more about communicating discomfort. With the right process, even truly aggressive dogs can learn to be calm and confident in the presence of their triggers.
What guarantee can you give me?
It’s completely understandable to want a guarantee, especially if past training experiences have made you a bit reactive to training gurus who promise big and deliver small.
Here’s what I can promise: your dog will make progress. How much progress depends on your dog’s individual needs, where they’re starting from, and how long they train with me. That’s why I conduct thorough evaluation sessions upfront. My goal isn’t to promise a Bernese Mountain Dog and deliver a Chihuahua. Instead, I aim to give you a realistic picture of what’s possible, how long it will take, and exactly how we’re going to get there.
